About US

My name is Lucas Mata and I am the owner/designer of Bearded Mountain Products. It all started in Perth Australia when a video on resin tables popped up on my Facebook. This spiraled me into a YouTube vortex on DIY and creating resin art and tables.

I began my journey with making small coasters and live edge serving boards with some cool resin inlays and designs. I moved on to making a coffee table for my mother and dining table for my cousins. This took me into the world of working with Wood and Resin. I have made rings, clocks, tables, boards, storage boxes, shoe racks, coasters and more.

I started to think what I really enjoyed and my mind was running in all directions. I thought what would people like…cutting boards, serving boards, charcuterie boards. They are affordable and an amazing gift for a birthday, mothers day, christmas, whatever occasion you can think of. They’re a great conversation starter.

I began customising my boards with designs of the, Canadian maple leaf and half Australia map and maple leaf. This opened up my mind to more designs and possibilities. I began designing more complex designs on my boards, like bears, pineapples, custom wedding names and dates and many many more that you can see in my Gallery.

Bearded Mountain Products is now based in Vancouver, Canada and we are all about bringing a bit nature into the home, whether it be a serving board for a gorgeous spread entertaining some friends or a nice side table to put your morning coffee on.
